Four Walls ‘Bartender’s Blend’ is the 90-proof Irish American Whiskey that started it all. Classic triple-distilled grain whiskey was married with equal parts of pot still malt, aged five years in ex-bourbon casks, both from Great Northern Distillery in Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland. That Irish base was finished with a touch of Wigle’s Monongahela-style rye, also aged five years. Only 2,500 bottles were released in 2022, selling out instantly, with all proceeds benefiting the hospitality community.

This original blend isn’t far from our current whiskey: hand-selected barrels of grain and malt Irish whiskeys from Great Northern, aged at least four years, blended with bold American rye from Cedar Ridge, also aged four years, and bottled at 80-proof for an everyday-drinking whiskey. 

Both were crafted with bartenders in mind - smooth enough for shots thanks to their Irish foundation, bold enough to stand up in cocktails thanks to the American rye. The best of both worlds in one bottle - and the reason we call it the "Better Brown."
